The world’s longest mountain range is not fully visible because it’s actually the subterranean Mid-Ocean Ridge, which lies mostly under the ocean and extends for about 40,000 miles. It runs along the north-south axis of the Atlantic Ocean and stretches from the Arctic Ocean to near the southern tip of Africa.
