The Ionosphere Is Constantly Changing.

Since the Ionosphere is formed when particles are ionized by the Sun’s energy, it changes from day to night. When a portion of Earth is facing away from the Sun (night), the corresponding part of the Ionosphere thins out as previously ionized particles are recombined into neutral particles, but it expands when the same part of the planet once again faces the Sun and the particles are charged by its energy. In addition to these cyclical changes, unpredictable factors make the Ionosphere an even more dynamic atmospheric zone.
