Southern White-Faced Owls Hunt at Dawn and Dusk.

Southern White-Faced Owls are nocturnal and crepuscular hunters, meaning that they search for food at dawn and dusk. They typically soar above the ground until they find potential prey, then swoop down using large, gliding wing flaps. Smaller prey is eaten whole mid-flight, while larger prey is devoured on a perch.
