Red-Tailed Hawks Lay Grayish-White Eggs.

Red-Tailed Hawks can lay between 1 and 5 grayish-white, speckled eggs during the breeding season (the average number of eggs laid is 2 – 3). Interestingly, the eggs are tinted green on the inside. The male and female partners take turns incubating the eggs until they hatch. Males provide food for the mother as well as the babies after they hatch.
