Not All Maple Trees Have 5-Point Leaves.

Maple Trees are known for having 5-point leaves shaped like hands, but not all species share this feature. For example, Paperbark Maples (Acer griseum) and Vine-Leafed Maples (Acer cissifolium) have leaves that are divided into 3 leaflets. Some Maples even have simple, undivided leaves, such as Hornbeam Maples (Acer carpinifolium).
