There are 3 types of Sea Lavender that are native to North America. They are: California Sea Lavender (L. californicum), which is native to the Pacific coast; Lavender Thrift (L. carolinium), which is native to the East Coast of North America; and Trans-Pecos Sea Lavender (L. limbatum), which is native to the American Southwest.
