Mongoose Lemurs are largely frugivorous, meaning that they eat mostly fruit. These herbivores also eat new leaves and nectar, especially from the Kapok tree. Native to Northwestern Madagascar and the Comoro Islands of Moheli and Anjouan, these creatures are sadly critically endangered.
