Metamorphic Rocks Go Through Massive Changes.

Metamorphic rocks start out as any other type of rock, but are then significantly changed through exposure to high heat, high pressure, hot mineral-rich fluids, or a combination of these factors. Metamorphic rocks are most commonly found deep within the Earth or in places where tectonic plates meet, as these are areas where the necessary transformative forces are commonly found. Quartzite and marble are examples of metamorphic rocks.
