Kagus Have Large Wings.

Kagus have relatively large wings for birds that are essentially flightless. However, they use their wings to protect their young; when Kagus feel threatened, they open their wings to reveal dark stripes meant to distract predators. They also use their wings for balance while running, climbing, and hopping.
