Great Blue Herons Share Parenting Duties.

Great Blue Herons generally lay 3 to 5 eggs (or sometimes, 2 to 7). Both the female and male participate in incubation and feeding their young by regurgitation. Great Blue Herons leave the nest at about 65 to 90 days of age, shortly after learning how to fly at around 60 days of age.
