Canada Has the Highest Tides in the World.

The highest tides in the world are found in Canada’s Bay of Fundy. Tides are highest in this area of the world primarily because the continents of North America, Europe, and Asia are pressed closer together than continents located in the Southern Hemisphere. This “constricts” the oceans in the area and results in a higher range of tides than elsewhere.
