Bonobos Are Playful.

Bonobos play a variety of games when young, just like human children do. When they are very small, they may engage in making funny faces to entertain themselves. As they grow older, they will begin to play more collaboratively. Common games include “King of the Mountain,” during which one ape will get on top of a hill or rock while peers try to pull them down, and loosely structured chasing gambits, wherein youngsters cover their eyes with their hands and chase each other around.
