Bobcats Have Special Navigational Markings.

Bobcats have a white spot behind each of their ears. It’s thought that this allows a female’s kittens to follow her more easily in dim light. Bobcats also have tails with a white underside. If kittens fall too far behind their mother, she will call to them and reveal this white patch so that they can easily locate her and continue to follow along.
