Andean Condors Don’t Flap Their Wings.

Andean Condors are known to be impressive fliers with a large wingspan of up to 10.5 feet across. However, when soaring (often up to heights of 18,000 feet!) they flap their wings very infrequently. In fact, an Andean Condor was once observed flying for over 100 miles without flapping its wings at all. They generally flap their wings once an hour while soaring through the sky.
