African Pygmy Geese Make Elaborate Nests.

African Pygmy Geese often nest in tree cavities. They also occasionally nest on the ground, in termite mounds, and even in thatched roofs. Their nests are made of grasses and leaves, and they sometimes even add feather down! Males even actively help to select nest sites. Overall, African Pygmy Geese are known to make more elaborate nests than any other waterfowl.
